Williamson County
Uniform Apparatus Identification Policy
This Policy was adopted by the Williamson County Fire Chief's Association for
use on CRC incidents. CRC Radio Identifiers are required for use on all CRC
incidents. Use of CRC Radio Identifiers for normal radio traffic is at the
individual department's discretion.
Staff/Command Officer CRC radio identifiers shall be three-digit numbers
where the first two numbers are the FD unique identifier and the third number (1-9)
are assigned to each Chief/Command Officer.
The Fire Chief for each department shall also have the
"'00" identifier
(example: Liberty Hill's Fire Chief is Unit 3500).
